Full Service Design

Phase I: Pre-Project

The pre-project phase is vitally important to the overall success of your project and is when I get to know you, your space and your hopes and dreams for that space. To begin this process, you must first complete our inquiry form. After we receive this, we will reach out to schedule a phone call to discuss the scope of your project and to schedule a walk-through of the space. After the completing the walk-through, we will create an overview of your project and outline all the details and specifics for your project. This will allow us to identify the goals and timeline for your project and create a fee schedule for your approval. Once approved, we will move on to Phase II.

Phase II: Programming

After the contract is signed, and agreed upon initial fees are paid, the fun begins! During this phase we really dig into the intent and desires for the space and your needs to develop a design concept that speaks to you. We create concept boards with inspiration images and samples, as well as create initial floor plans and finish/furnishing selections. Once this is ready to go, we present you with your unique design presentation and review all details allowing for adjustments and modifications as needed.

Phase III: Design and Documentation

During this phase, we get into the nitty gritty of the design, creating final floor plans, construction documents and finalizing finish and furniture selections for ordering. The length of this phase is dependent on the scope of your project. This is also the phase where any permits that are needed are obtained.

Phase IV: Project Management & Procurement

Once the final design plan is approved, all permits are obtained, and deposits for items have been received, we begin the administrative work of purchasing and tracking each piece that is ordered. We also provide onsite collaboration with your contractor throughout the construction to ensure no detail is overlooked.

Phase V: Installation + Project Completion

The final phase is where it all comes together, and is arguably every client’s favorite day: install day! This is the day when all of your rugs and furnishings are placed, your curtains and artwork are hung, and vignettes are styled in your space. Installation can take between one day and a week depending on the size of your project. Once installation is finished, we will take photos of your project for our portfolio and then leave you to enjoy your home. The remainder of your project fee is due upon completion of install. After 6 months, we will reach out to you to complete a post occupancy survey to ensure everything is up to par and to learn from your project.
