One Room Challenge Spring 2022 - Week 3 - The Laundry “Room”

Week 3 of the ORC is here…. and I’m over 400 miles away in Virginia visiting family for my kids’ Spring Break. It’s a much anticipated trip and welcome break but definitely means I’m going to need to hustle next week to make up for the loss of time. I think I can manage though - part of the reason I picked the laundry room is I knew it was a bit of a smaller project and I knew this week was going to be an added challenge.

I spent some time this week really planning the space and materials, and also doing some research on the how-tos of some of the projects. I also finished up some renderings I started of the space so I could show my husband what the end result will be. This is a great way to help clients (family members) visualize the space before having to invest a lot of time/money.

This is the view as if you were standing outside and we could make the exterior wall invisible.

This is the view as if you are standing on the stairs, looking down.

I also ordered a few more items for the project - including the ceiling tiles again because my first order was cancelled for out of stock items. My husband took off next week from work as well, so I’ll definitely be enlisting his assistance to get this project rolling!

In the meantime, if you want to check out some of the other ORC participants, head over to the ORC blog here and take a look!
